About the Publisher

Kathleen Price's professional background began with teaching family studies courses at a community college while simultaneously maintaining a private practice in Marriage and Family Therapy. During this period she authored many course manuals that were used in conjunction with a Community Parent Education Program, which she developed and administered.

Both her teaching and counseling careers were interrupted by the three-year illness of her daughter, which ended in her daughter's death. When Kathleen re-entered the work force, she became a technical writer for a computer software company and quickly rose to a management position in the company's education department. Two years spent with her husband in Zimbabwe as a US Peace Corps English teacher were followed by an entrepreneurial adventure founding and developing a computer graphics business after they returned to the states. Since selling that enterprise, Kathleen has written and published a memoir, is working on a new book of personal essays, and enjoys helping other writers get their creative work into print.
